SanoSkin Oxy is an ozonated natural olive oil-based gel that facilitates wound debridement. When the gel is in contact with wound fluid/water, ozonides are released impeding bacterial growth and wound malodor. The ozonides create an acid oxidative environment that is unfavorable for bacteria, yeast and fungi(3). SanoSkin Oxy is a gentle gel that is able to create a moist wound healing environment. Oxy is a primary wound dressing that can be covered by most commonly used secondary dressings. SanoSkin Oxy is also an excellent product to treat acne, eczema and fissures.

The use of SanoSkin Oxy does not lead to resistance in micro-organisms.

A 75 years old female patient had a venous ulcer skin graft. The size, severity and depth of the wound is depicted in the photos. The skin graft failed partially and remained open.

Wound healing was accomplished, despite the underlying issues and the severity of the wound site, and the human suffering was finally resolved.

Initially, the wound site was cleansed with SanoSkin Cleanser to remove dirt, debris, bacteria and slough and prepare the infected area for the application of SanoSkin OXY. Healing took place in 55 days for this deep wound. SanoSkin OXY was also used to soften and remove the fibrine tissue.
